Leaving the motorway (Al autostrada) at the exit for Arezzo, you can reach the restaurant "Acquamatta" by driving along the Casentinese highway in the direction of Bibbiena exiting at Capolona Sud and then following the directions to the town centre.

The small modern industrial and artisan town of Capolona is situated on the banks of the river Arno. Arriving at Piazza della Vittoria and entering the tiny alley way "Via della Fonte di Sotto" you will be surprised and fascinated by the charm and beauty of the typical medieval hamlet where the many flowers and plants further enchance the setting of the "Acquamatta". The restaurant is on the right bank of the Arno framed by the gently rolling Casentinese hills.

On entering the restaurant you are captivated by the wooden beamed ceilings and the terracotta floors which create a warm atmosphere. The main dining room is even more impressive with its honey coloured wooden floors and panoramic view from its large windows where the guests may look out on the spectacular view of the turbulent waters flowing below, dramatically illuminated in the evening. the dining rooms are separated by a bar and a central area with colourful displays of seasonal fruits, vegetables and gastronomic specialities, as well as the wide selection of the wines available.

The menu presents an original selection of typically Tuscan dishes, reelaborated and prepared by the chefs, Paolo Pasquini, Andrea Alimenti and Leonardo Motolese. The menu varies according to the daily supply of fish which come from the Tyrrhenian Sea, including Sardinia, Sicily and Elba. There is also a meat menu of higt quality "Chianina" beef. While waiting for your meal, you will be offered an aperitif and a selection of home made breads and fried savouries. The pasta and desserts are also freshly made daily. Every aspect of the meal is created end prepared with meticulous care, from the fresh flowers decorating the tables, the table settings to the soft background music. Nothing is left to chance. The collaboration of the three chefs, who can boast Michelin stars, has guaranteed the success of this, their new and adventurous enterprise together.
