The Masseria San Domenico is an ancient fortified country house along the southern Adriatic coast between Bari and Brindisi.
Now it is being transformed into an elegant hotel, equipped with every modern convenience.
A large swimming pool wraps around the hotel's white tower, in remarkable harmony with the ever present landscape of immense silver olive groves.
The extensive sporting facilities also include tennis courts, practice golf links, and a volley court.
The pristine waters of the Apulian Adriatic are just eight hundred meters away.
Also close by are the Selva di Fasano safari park, with its wild animal collection ranging free; the characteristic and still inhabited prhistoric structures of the trulli at Alberobello; the caves at Castellana, and the remains of the ancient pre-Roman civilisation of the city of Egnazia. Ostuni, nicknamed the White Queen of Olives, and the surrounding region of Apulia are rich with historical and artistic treasures.
The restaurant will offer typical Apulian specialities, accompanied by a wide selection of the region's finest
wines.
