The Hotel-Restaurant "Al Vecchio Convento" originated from an idea of Giovanni Cameli and
Marisa Raggi ; after a long training in cooking they decided to restore an ancient manor house in the town centre, recurring to the ability of local
craftsmen.
Placed close to the National Park of Forests Casentinesi, among the hills of the Appennino Tosco Romagnolo, the Hotel offers the chance of enjoying a natural and peaceful
lifestyle.
The furniture of the 21 rooms in the hotel goes back to the 19° century. Typical of that style are indeed the walnut and cherry pieces, the wrought-iron beds, the embroidered curtains...
Breakfast is served in a tasteful, comfortable basement and also outside in the garden during summer. The buffet includes home-made marmalades, cakes, sliced salami, cheese, fruits. In order to completely satisfy their need of relaxing, the guests are free to have breakfast without time
restrictions.
