22 years
have passed since Angelo
Capogrossi became a member of the Associazione Sommellier d'Italia (A.I.S.)
– Italian Wine Tasters Association.
During this time Angelo has acquired a unique
experience as connoisseur of italian wines, even if he has
never abandoned those of his region - the Marches - with
a particular preference for the most well known white wine, both in Italy and
abroad, Verdicchio.

Besides being a highly esteemed wine taster, Angelo is
particularly interested in the peasants’ history and culture.
His Cellar in via Trieste, in Jesi, is a
little museum, where he collects and exhibits very old pieces
of evidence of the peasants’ life: from the tools to work the land
to the first rudimentary instruments used for the vinification, from the
tuns to the barrels.
In the last few years he has dedicated himself to the
improvements of the accompaniments between the most
characteristic italian recipes and italian wines.
