Codavolpe is to be found in the province of Catania in Sicily.  Its hilltop position, at 200m altitude is extremely panoramic with views over both the sea and the mountains.  With Etna as a backdrop and facing onto the sea of Giarre, 5 km away, you can see as far as Taormina and Castelmola.    The place is completely immersed in nature, it is not easy to find but it is precisely for this reason that it is an authentic mini-paradise.  The warm and jovial welcome means that you immediately feel at home.  In the midst of the green of a lemon and mandarin garden, Elena and her husband Angelo have succeeded in creating an atmosphere of total relaxation.  Furthermore, for those who wish to stay for a few days, there are 5 charming one-room attic flats available.    Codavolpe is a business that cultivates fruit, citrus fruit and vegetables.  Elena makes excellent jams and liqueurs that are on sale to the guests.  Often the guests are invited to eat with the owners in order to taste their culinary specialties, as Elena loves to explain the most traditional recipes of Sicilian cuisine.
