Located in the heart of Tuscany, among Siena, S.Gimignano, Volterra, the Fattoria Solaio is a small rural village whose origins, dating back to the 14th. century are still visible thanks to an expert restoration. 

The main house with its  guest-quarters, the church, the oil-mill and the cellar are still here to testify of that remote age. Everybody can enjoy hiking or riding across the natural beauties of this rural Senese landscape, as the horse-riding courses are open to both  beginners and expert riders.

Starting from here it is possible to reach all main  Tuscan cities; there is also a wide choice of short trips taking advantage of Solaio's convenient location. At about 10 minutes there is le " Galleraie", a modern spa where one can find any sort of health and body treatment, such asmud- baths, aerosol, physioterapy, and baths.
