The holidaysfarm "La Savenella" is situated in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, that is 5 minutes away from the Etruscan archeological sites in Vetulonia and Roselle, and not so many Kms. away from the most important coastal places (Punta Ala, Castiglione della Pescaia, Riva del Sole).
The building , that is in the middle of a vast estate, is open all year round and has a family management.
There are lots of surrounding sightseeing beautiful places which are basilar stages for people spending some days at La Savenella :
the very appreciated Parco dell' Uccellina (a very famous park) with its uncontaminated flora and fauna and with its cowherds (the socalled Maremma
cowboys); the places along Costa d'Argento (Orbetello, Porto Santo Stefano,
Talamone, Ansedonia, Capalbio).; the numerous Etruscan and Roman archeological sites
(Vetulonia, Populonia, Roselle); the Saturnia Thermal baths, where you can recover your strenght and your mind.
La Savenella has exclusive living units and double rooms.Every room is furnished with stylish solid wood furniture and is provided with tv set.
In our rooms you can spend relaxing moments, plunging into rural culture or Tuscan recipes books, which are part of a bookcase at your disposal.
You can also make use of a fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare your favourite
dishes.
Externally, in a wide and exclusive park, you can find a private swimming pool provided with springboard and natural hydromassage. During the stay it is possible to do some sports, such as swimming, trekking , bike or mountain bike.
If you want, you can also grill the meat in a practical barbecue situated in a particular area of the garden.
In some periods our hosts could also collaborate to some rural activities, such as the cereal threshling or the grape harvest, and it will also be possible to take part in the production of the typical Tuscan wine.
At La Savenella it is also possible to taste excellent wines as well as the rare extravirgin olive oil produced by the holidaysfarm and hosts themselves.
The farm has also a fully equipped winery, famous for the rare Chianti Classico and Brunello di Montalcino, which are typical of the places near Siena, just 30 minutes far away.
