It is a converted 19th century building for the grape-harvest, surrounded by 10 hectares of cherry-woods, lemons and walnut-trees. 

It is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday in the midst of historical towns. You will be able to enjoy total tranquility, as well as the fabulous sights of the sea and the baroque towns around of Catania, even if some of which, really, date back to the greek-roman era. But you are also within easy reach of the other historical towns in Sicily (Acireale is just 8 Km away, Siracusa 75 Km , Messina 80 km, Palermo 184 km), and some of the most famous archeological sites (Adrano 30 Km, Grammichele 40 Km, Catania), castles and fortifications (Aci Castello 5 Km, Motta S. Anastasia 12 Km, Paterṇ 18 Km, Militello 40 Km, Bronte 52 Km), traditional cities like Taormina, Randazzo, Linguaglossa, and the mitical mount Etna, the largest active volcano in Europa (20 min. by car). 

The long, sandy, beach lined coastline known as the "Plaia", that lies to the south of the port of Catania, or the sea-front to the north of the capital, that on the other hand is distinguished by the predominant presence of volcanc rock, are both not far from the "Masseria Carminello", just 10 min. by car.
