Iti Garden is a holiday farmhouse in Rossano in the province of Caserta. 

The word "Iti" derives from the term "iter" which means path or road. It is possible that the region was a Roman station-post, if we are to believe local folklore, and the road itself led to the ancient salt mines in Valmonte. 

For 3 centuries Iti Garden has belonged to the Cherubini family and now the kind and friendly Baroness Bebč Cherubini is the manager. In the beginning it was an olive tree farm which produced highly prized oil and now it is a modern citrus fruit orchard with the young olive trees forming a boundary round the orchard to protect the other trees from the wind. These olive trees produce a special oil used both in the preparation of dishes and to conserve various products typical of the area, all of which you can taste at the farmhouse. 

Iti Garden is only 3 kilometers away from the Ionio sea and the next village. 
You can go for walks, horsetrekking or mountain biking in the nearby mountains with the help of the guides from the trekking club and the different paths you can follow will give you great pleasure, just like “Raganello”, a famous river on Pollino Mountain where you can go rafting. 

In the time of year when the citrus fruit trees are blossoming a special week called “Zagara”, which in fact means orange blossom, is organized. During this week salt and peppered sardines are prepared, known as the “caviar of the poor”. 

At the farmhouse table you will be able to find different typical dishes like for example: “maccaruni a ferrettu” (macaroni pasta), “Lagane e ciceri” (pasta with chickpeas), “alici scattiate” (anchovy dish), “melanzane chine”(aubergine dish), “coniglio al tegame con pipi uscenti” (stewed rabbit dish). 

The rooms in the farmhouse are all very comfortable each with a fireplace (used only in winter) and various rural paintings. Three of the rooms have en suite bathroom.
